Programme Overview

established welding techniques such as SMAW/MMA, GMAW/MIG/MAG, and GTAW/TIG.

Minimum Admission Requirements
Entry Requirements
- NQF Level 1 (Grade 9) with 50% in Mathematics and Science, subject to a KYB Assessment
- NQF Level 2 (Grade 10) with 40% in Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy, or Technical Mathematics
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in Welding
- Must be 18 years of age or older
