Minister Buti Manamela, together with Deputy Ministers Dr. Mimmy Gondwe and Dr. Nomusa DubeNcube; and the entire department of higher education and training, wishes Orbit TVET College all the best as they begin their Premier Soccer League (PSL) season against AmaZulu FC this weekend at Princess Magogo, KwaMashu, KwaZulu-Natal. 

We are immensely proud of Orbit TVET for having reached such heights in South African football, and we urge them to continue from where they left off last season — with focus, determination, and the fighting spirit that has made them a beacon of excellence within the Post-School Education and Training (PSET)sector. This is not just a game, but a testament to the power of opportunity, talent, and discipline nurtured within our TVET colleges. The success of Orbit is the success of the entire PSET system. 

We call on all TVET colleges, universities, CET’s, SETAs, and institutions across the country to rally behind Orbit TVET. They carry our flag — not only as athletes but as student ambassadors who represent the best of what our education system can produce. We must be also thankful to the role played by College Sport Art and Culture South (CoSACSA) which continued to offer a better platform to TVET community to showcase their skills, and sportsmanship. 

We encourage all students in the TVET community to partake on the CoSACSA activities. We also extend our congratulations to the coaching and technical team, the college management, and especially to the captain and players who will take to the field this weekend.
